DJ Profile

Alice Johnson – Alice

Paving the way from youthful enthusiasm to immeasurable passion and dedication, London’s Alixe is a DJ confidently and stylishly breaking the mold.

From early beginnings, a self-taught Alixe emerged from a family of musicians, and would experiment with the decks as a youth; setting up on the floor of her bedroom. Never succumbing to a difficult situation, or a less than luxurious set-up, a love for the art-form and an inherent work ethic united; pushing the young DJ towards her ultimate goal every step of the way. Soon enough, Alixe was hosting her own events, and playing at local clubs across Peterborough and Cambridge.

Understanding the importance of education and networking alike, Alixe took on professional training in 2016, with the London Sound Academy. That same year saw her secure her very first DJ residency – an entire summer in the party capital that is Zante, Greece. Here she performed at some of the biggest clubs and boat parties on the island, sharing stages with many of the scene’s biggest names.

Having returned to Greece multiple times in recent years, Alixe has also graced infamous venues in Croatia, Ibiza, and the UK. Boasting the legendary Sankeys and Ibiza Rocks Bar as some of her most impressive accomplishments, Alixa also bagged a weekly residency on Select Radio – one of the UK’s biggest dance music radio stations.

Since returning to London in 2017, venues like Ministry of Sound, Egg London, Electric Brixton, Pryzm and The Golden Bee have been just a few of her experiences as DJ – not to mention appearances at O’Mearas, and Islington’s highly acclaimed O2 Academy.

An eclectic and versatile, fast-rising DJ, Alixe’s uniquely immersive style balances elements of indie, rock, RnB, hip hop and EDM. Her optimism and energy on stage, combined with her unwavering creative spirit, consistently promises audiences a night to remember.
